SOULWINNING SCRIPT
- (John
8:11, 5:14) Christ commands you to “Sin no more”.
- (James
4:17) God’s Word states that sin is a choice to do evil, when you have
knowledge of good and evil.
- (Deuteronomy
1:39) God’s Word explains that children have no knowledge of good and
evil. As sin is defined as choosing to do evil when you have knowledge of
good and evil, children cannot be said to have sinned or to have been born
sinners. Because all adults are born as children adults cannot be said to
have been born sinners. Therefore, God’s Word states clearly that you were
not born a sinner.
- (Ezekiel
18:20) God’s Word declares that you do not inherit the sins of your
father. Because you do not inherit the sins of your father whom you were
directly related to you definitely do not inherit the sins of Adam who
died thousands of years before you were born and had no direct
relationship to you. Because God’s
Word states that sin is a choice that originates in your individual free
will, not a nature that originated in Adam’s free will and was
unexplainably passed down to you, you also did not inherit a sinful nature
from Adam.
- (Genesis
1:26-28, 2 Peter 1:3-4) God’s Word says that God created you in His
Own Image after His Own Likeness. Because God does not have a sinful
nature, you, created in God’s Image and Likeness, do not have a sinful
nature. Additionally, when you choose to turn from all sin and submit to
Christ you are granted the privilege of becoming “a partaker of the Divine
Nature” through “the exceeding precious promises” in the Bible.
- (Deuteronomy
24:16, 2 Kings 14:6) God commands, as a Law, that you will only die for
your own sins. This means that you do not inherit, will not be judged for,
and will not be put to death for, Adam’s sins.
- (1
John 3:4) God’s Word states that sin is when you break God’s Law, the
Ten Commandments:
- (Exodus
20:3) If you have ever prioritized anything, anyone, or any other deity,
before the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible –breathing, sleeping, eating,
occupation, academics, money, family, recreation, Allah, Buddha, Krishna,
Judaism, Atheism, yourself, etc…- you have had another (false) “god”
before Him, and have broken His first Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:4-6) If you have ever served anything, anyone, or any other deity,
before the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible –breathing, sleeping, eating,
occupation, academics, money, family, recreation, Allah, Buddha, Krishna,
Judaism, Atheism, yourself, etc… - you have “made a graven image” or an
idol that you have chosen to serve instead of Him, have expressed hatred
to Him through this and have broken His second Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:7) If you have ever spoken God’s or Christ’s Name to express anything
besides devotion or if you have ever sinned against Christ, then called
on Him to help you achieve your selfish goals, you have misused or “taken
His Name in vain”, and have broken His third Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:8-11) If you have ever neglected to take one out of every seven days
to do no work for yourself, your family, your boss, or anyone else, and
spend the entire day worshipping, thanking, studying about, and seeking
Christ, you have not kept His Sabbath and have broken His fourth
Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:12) If you have ever disobeyed, disrespected, despised, argued with,
talked back to, spoken against, been bitter towards, hated, not served
with sincere heart-felt gladness, neglected to financially enrich, your
parents, you have not honored your parents and have broken Christ’s fifth
Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:13, 1 Samuel 16:7, Matthew 5:21-22, 1 John 3:15) Because God regards
your heart, if you have ever in your heart disliked, hated, been angry
with anyone for any reason besides their having sinned against Christ,
you have committed murder in your heart and have broken Christ’s sixth
Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:14, Matthew 5:27-28) If you have ever looked at the body of a man,
woman, or child, besides your spouse, with sexual desire, you have
committed adultery in your heart and have broken Christ’s seventh
Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:15) If you have ever taken (or “borrowed” but neglected to return)
something that did not belong to you, you have stolen and have broken
Christ’s eighth Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:16) If you have ever told a lie, said something that was not true, or
gossiped about anyone, you have borne false witness and have broken
Christ’s ninth Commandment.
- (Exodus
20:17) If you have ever desired something or someone that belonged to
someone else you have coveted and have broken Christ’s tenth Commandment.
- (Exodus
32:33) God’s Word says that because you have chosen to sin by breaking
God’s Law, you have been blotted out of God’s Book.
- (Isaiah
59:1-2) God’s Word says that through your choice to sin you have
separated yourself from God Who is sinless, from God’s salvation, and from
God hearing your prayers.
- (1
John 3:8) God’s Word states that through your choice to sin, separate
yourself from God, and remove yourself from God’s family, you have chosen
to align yourself with satan and become a member of his family.
- Psalm
7:11) God’s Word says that because you have chosen to sin, separate
yourself from God and His family, and join satan’s family, God is angry
with you every day.
- (Psalm
5:4-5, 11:5-6, refer back to Exodus 20:5 concerning expressing hatred
towards God by breaking His Commandments)
God’s Word declares that because you have expressed hatred towards
God by choosing to sin, break His Commandments, separate yourself from Him
and His family, and join satan’s family, He hates you in return.
- (Ezekiel
18:4) God’s Word says that because you have chosen to sin, separate
yourself from God and His family, and join satan’s family, you will die
physically and spiritually.
- (Hebrews
9:27) God’s Word explains that because you have chosen to sin,
separate yourself from God and His family, and join satan’s family, you
will die physically and spiritually, and then face judgment.
- (Revelation
20:11-15) God’s Word states that because you have chosen to sin,
separate yourself from God and His family, and join satan’s family, you
will die physically and spiritually, stand before God in judgment, be
judged guilty of breaking God’s Law, then be cast into the lake of fire.
- (Luke
13:1-5) God’s Word declares that, because you have chosen to sin, your
only alternative to being cast into the lake of fire for your sin is to
“repent”. “Repent” is the word “metaneo” in Greek. It means the following:
- (Ecclesiastes
12:13, Revelation 4:11) Reconsider your life: God’s Word states that your
whole duty on earth is to fear God and keep His Commandments and that you
were created to give God pleasure. By choosing to sin, you have not
feared God, kept His Commandments, nor given Him pleasure. Because of
your selfish choice to sin, you have not fulfilled your earthly duty; you
have wasted your entire life. You need to seriously reconsider your life.
- Think
differently or afterwards about your sin, your selfish life, yourself,
and God: You must hate sin, your selfish life, and yourself for how you
have sinned against God. Then you must start to love God, for Who He is
and all that He has done for you in spite of your sin, by starting to
obey Him.
- Feel
moral compunction or godly sorrow for your sin: You must feel worse than
you have ever felt in your life for how you have returned the kindness
that God has shown you throughout your life with hatred, by breaking His
Laws.
- Change
your mind and course in life: Realize that you are on “the highway to
hell”, deserve to be cast into the lake of fire for your sin against God,
and are obligated to change. You change your mind and course by the
following:
i.
(Romans 12:1-2) Getting new information: God’s Word states that your life is
transformed by the renewing, or, renovating, of your mind. You must purge
yourself of all ungodly information and influence (Non-Biblical T.V, music,
literature, friends, etc…) and daily take in only God’s Word, the Bible, by
reading it, memorizing it, speaking it to yourself and others, studying it, and
obeying it.
ii.
(Psalm 5:4-5, Revelation 4:11, Job 42:6) Being displeased with
your life: You must realize that your entire existence has been nothing less
than an unbroken tirade of selfish sinful satanic rebellion against God and
Christ. God is displeased with your life. You should be, too.
iii.
(Romans 6:23, Acts 26:20, 20:21, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, 1
Timothy 2:5, John 14:6, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21) Changing your actions: Realizing
that you will be cast deservedly into the lake of fire for your sin, you must
also realize that only the One that you have rebelled against, the Lord Jesus
Christ, the only One Who never sinned, can save you from your sin. To be saved
from sin by the sinless Christ, however, you must turn from all sin, self, and
satan, live a life which shows that you have turned from sin, then believe in
and follow Christ as your only Master by living according to His Word, the
Bible, forever.
- (Luke
9:23-26, 14:26-33) God’s Word explains that to follow Christ you must
deny, (disown) yourself, take up your cross (instrument of capital
punishment, i.e. that which crucifies or kills your former selfish life),
forsake and love all (spouse, family, worldly life, self, etc…) infinitely
less than you love Christ, and follow (tread around, frequent) Him.
- (Ecclesiastes
12:13, Matthew 22:35-40) God’s Word declares that you must love Christ
with all of your heart, mind, and soul (leaving none of you to love self,
sin, satan, and the world).
- (John
14:15) God’s Word states that you love Christ by keeping Christ’s
Commandments.
- (Mark
16:15, Matthew 10:8) God’s Word says that as, in order to follow
Christ you must love Christ by obeying all of Christ’s Commandments, you
must also obey Christ’s Command to go into all the world, preach to every
person, and freely give to them what you have freely received from Him.
- (Acts
1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:1-6) God’s says that as, in order to follow
Christ you must love Christ by obeying all of Christ’s Commandments, you
must also obey Christ’s Command to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with
the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues, in order to receive power to
live as a witness unto Christ everywhere that you go.
