“Can I Live Without Sin?
1. The Bible says that all people, besides Christ, have sinned in the past. The Bible does not say that all are sinning, in the present, or that all will sin, in the future (Romans 3:23)
2. The Bible says that people (Specifically Biblically sin-free people, “Christians”) are not supposed to continue in sin after having repented from sin and surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 6:1-2)
3. The Lord Jesus Christ says that after people are forgiven for their past sins, they must go and sin no more (John 8:11, Romans 3:25)
A. Christ would not command people to do what He knew they could not do
B. Christ would not judge people for doing what He knew that they could not avoid doing
*Conclusion: The Bible says that it is possible for people to live without sin. In fact, the Bible defines the normal Christian life as a life lived without sin, and commands people to live without sin.
*Yes! (Romans 6:1-7, 11, 1 John 3:9, 5:18)

Based on this, children, and, therefore, adults, do not have and are not born into sin. Neither are children or adults born with a sinful nature (Deuteronomy 1:39, Romans 9:11)
C. Sin comes into your life when you know to do good, but choose to be enticed by, and carry out, the bad that you choose to allow to tempt you (James 1:12-16)
IV.

C. God is righteous (Psalm 11:7, 116:5)
2. God commands human beings to follow God and live according to God’s Holy Image and Sinless Nature (Ephesians 5:1)

V.
Do I have to live without sin in order to be saved from
sin and be a Biblical Christian?
1. Christ says that people who commit even one sin are the servants of sin and, therefore, not saved from sin, or, Biblical Christians (John 8:34)
2. The Bible says that sin is breaking God’s Law, or, God’s Commandments. Those who sin, or, break God’s Commandments, and say that they know Christ, are liars and are of the devil (1 John 3:4, 2:4, John 8:44)
3. The Bible says that one who does or makes even one sin is of the devil, is not saved from sin, and is not a Biblical Christian (1 John 3:8)
*Conclusion: The Bible says that when one does or makes even one sin one has chosen to be the servant of sin and satan. When one chooses to commit one sin one is no longer saved from sin, in the same way that when one chooses to dive in the ocean and drown oneself one is no longer saved from the water. One must live without sin in order to be saved from sin and exist as a biblical Christian.
